Seats

Mountain Buggy Duet will be the best choice If you like off-road driving. It's a side-by-side with the smallest footprint of any double buggy available on the market. This makes it easier to pass through doors with narrow openings and on public transport and also allows you to go up and down kerbs without much trouble. The adjustable handlebar comes with a handbrake for added security and safety.

Another option that is light weight is the UPPAbaby Vista 2 Double that can be used for twins or a toddler and baby. The seats can be reclining in multiple positions with UPF 50+ sunshades. Suspension

Some models come with locking front tires to aid in maneuvering and navigating obstacles like curbs.

It's the smallest side-byside double available. It also comes with impressive technology, including LED visibility lights that are placed on both sides of the frame to improve safety during low-light situations.

For something a little different you can choose the Joie Evalite Duo is a lightweight buggy that can accommodate twins from birth (it's open to the world and features an upright position). Its clever frame expands widthways to accommodate the extra seat, but it only weighs in at around 11kg, making it easy to lift and manoeuvre. It can also be used with an infant car seat or carrycot, allowing you to have the best of both worlds and it will help your budget in the future as you don't need to invest in another buggy as soon as you get it.
