All-terrain pushchair that provides lightweight durability and great maneuverability. The compact fold with one hand makes it easy to transport. It can also stand on its own when folded. The padded seat reclines to a near-flat position, and there's a huge storage bin and canopy. The suitability for newborns is yes with an additional carrycot.
A good suspension and air-filled tires will help you navigate through rough terrain. You can also use it for jogging. However, you must wait until the baby is at minimum 6 or 9 months old.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a great option for parents looking for a lightweight buggy with enhanced features. It is an entire travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot designed for newborns, a multi-position forward and rear-facing pushchair seat as well as a choice of a group 0+ car seat, meaning you can have everything you need in one package.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it has received the highest praise from customers. It is extremely light with the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg. It is also very easy to assemble. I was able to get it up and running in just five minutes. That's amazing considering that it included attaching fabric for the carrycot.
The seat is wide and comfortable for Annie, who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was simple to use. There's plenty of room in the basket too and I like the fact that it comes with a zip-up pocket in the handle bar so that you can keep your keys and phone safe!
The only downside is that the handlebar is quite low, which could be a problem for taller parents. It's covered with a soft, comfy leather-like material, and is easy to wipe down.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for athletic parents who are eager to go out and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on field and forest trails. The front wheel is lockable and can be swiveled for added flexibility. It also comes with a cushioned 5-point safety harness and front bar to keep your little one secure on all journeys, while the parking brake effectively stops the stroller from moving even when you take a break. The seat can be adjusted to lay down and the canopy can be opened to allow for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to fit mum or dad.
The Runner will accompany you on your next adventure whether it's a short walk, a longer hike or a long distance trek. It has a fully-flat lay-flat seat that has suspension air wheels that provide an easy ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide greater stability on narrow streets or overcrowded sidewalks. The stroller can also fold up to fit in car boot spaces and storage areas.
Some parents have reported that the Runner 2 to be a bit more difficult to navigate than its predecessor and the locking system isn't as user-friendly (requiring two buttons on the opposite side of the push bar). The handlebars are a bit higher than some competitors, which means they may not be suitable for taller parents. However, this stroller is sturdy and a lot of fun, and is worth considering by active families.
Red Kite Push Me Pace
Red Kite's Pace is a great product from the cost-effective British brand. They are known for their clean, well-designed products that are essential to parents. It's the newest and most expensive product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller line. It like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo it's car seat-compatible so that you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace comes with some amazing design features such as rose-gold hues on the chassis, hood and stroller trims that truly set it apart. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics on the stroller and the car seat are super elegant and there is an option to add an coordinating handle for the cover and bumper bar as well.
The stroller seat can be used from birth up to a maximum weight of 22kg. It can easily be converted into a 2-in-1 reversible position, which is either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat features several lie-back positions, plus comfortable padded leg rests, and an extendable sun canopy with zip-off sections that are concealed, a viewing see-through flap, and retractable visor.
When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 x 43cm x 32cm, which makes it suitable for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. Two buttons on each side are easy to use and can be clicked to lock it in the appropriate position.
Bugaboo Fox 5
Designed to be the ultimate all-terrain pushchair Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter cheap 3 wheel buggy-distance, makes it more mobile than its predecessor. I tested it with my two children - a toddler and an eight week old - over the rocky roads along woodland paths, grassy trails and even cobblestones.
The puncture-proof wheels are big in size - 22cm and a whopping 30cm - so they can cope with all kinds of terrain. The wheels have an opening that can be shut or opened to let air in when required. It's slightly larger than other pushchairs, but doesn't feel heavy or bulky when you are pushing it over bumpy surfaces.
The seat fabric is machine washable, and the frame and faux leather grips are simple to wipe down. It's also quieter than other pushchairs, and I was comfortable in the city streets. It comes with accessory points that allow you to attach footmuffs and parasols and also changing bags or snack trays, and even snack tray. The hood can be used to block rain and wind, however it's not waterproof. It's a single stroller, but you can attach their Comfort 3 wheeled pushchair Board (not included) to give your child a bit of legroom. It took around 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and the same amount of time to convert it to the seat.

A fantastic feature is the reversible handlebar which lets you adjust it to your height and preference. The Ridge's fold, unlike many strollers 3 wheels, is stable and self-standing when folded.
iCandy Core
The new pushchair from iCandy is truly groundbreaking and comes with a host of features that are going to wow parents. It has a Multi-Mode wheelbase as well as an LED Visibility Hub light that is the first of its kind in the market. It also comes with an integrated Ride-on Board, which will save you money in the future and makes it simple for an exhausted toddler to accompany you on family outings.
The Core is available as an entire travel system or as a single seat. It works with the most popular car seats, including the ones from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It has the biggest seat unit in the iCandy line, which means you can use it to help your baby's start and beyond. As with all iCandy pushchairs, it's luxuriously designed and is made of high-end knitted jersey fabrics. The parent's adjustable handlebar and child's removable bumper bar are made of soft leatherette, and the folding calf support folds away and is extremely comfortable for children.
I was amazed by how easy it is to fold and collapse - it only takes one hand, even with the seat unit in place. It is also easy to fit into the boot or hallway, making it perfect for travel. The iCandy Core comes with lots of extra accessories, including an rucksack that matches the colour of your choice and footmuff/liner.
