The item upgrade is an enchantment that increases the stats of a specific armor or weapons. This includes secondary stats like Leech and Speed.
A special item upgrading for evolution that allows Porygon to evolve into Porygon2. This item is available at Pokestops or Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be applied to any kind of equipment and provide smaller bonuses than other components that are specific to the particular type of equipment.
Leveling
The upgrade system lets players improve items by increasing their level. The level increase also improves the item's "guaranteed" bonuses. Every level increase increases the stats on the item by +1 and adds an extra bonus that is based on the tier of the item. These extras could range from a +1 to +3 bonus, to random buffs or debuffs.
Each item is limited to a certain amount of upgrades. After the upgrade the item is completed, it can be upgraded to a higher-tiered product with the same or greater worth.
This method is beneficial for players who want to acquire equipment with a specific level of stats prior acquiring an item that is new. Transfer is easy to use and allows the player to avoid wasting upgrading materials.
Upgrade materials are collected as players clear their content and can be used to enhance or replace an item. Each item requires a different type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. These materials are renamed after the item is upgraded, such as Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.
It is important to upgrade items to increase the performance of a character. However it is equally important to consider how much this will cost. Every time an item is upgraded, it will cost an amount of gold that could be better spent on the purchase of a new piece of equipment. This is the reason it's recommended to upgrade the most crucial items in a particular scenario.
This usually means upgrading the weapon first followed by the legs and chest and finally the helm. If the player is able to afford it, upgrading trinkets should also be done at this point to maximize their potential for procs. Upgrades to a top-quality Throne of Thunder item may be worthwhile because of the damage it could cause. Certain trinkets are not worth upgrading until they can offer an upgrade that is significant in a certain build. This is especially true for certain breakpoint equipment that are used to calculate high-value stats such as IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a mechanic that lets players alter the stats of the weapon, armor or ring, based on the kind. It can be used to replace existing bonuses or to add new ones. It also alters the base power of the item.
While rerolling can be a good way to boost your power in the initial phases of the game, it's not an essential aspect of the game. Once you've reached your level 6 upgrade goal generally, you should go down and look for the Best item upgrade upgrades you can or save to purchase the next set of items. This will allow you to build an effective team at the time you reach your goal of upgrading to level 9.
The process of rerolling is similar to the level up system. Reroll tokens can be used to remove a Level Up option from your item and exchange it for another. However unlike Level Up, reroll tokens do not reset the item's level. This means that when you reroll an upgraded item, it will not be at the same level and will not receive the bonus.
In addition to rerolling, players may use a special mechanic called Eliminate to delete any Level Up option from their equipment or weapons. This is useful when you've lost a gacha or you want to roll an item that has five stars. You will need to create an account from scratch or sign up using social media.
In each town, you are able to visit an Occultist to alter the aspects or stats of a weapon or armor. This is helpful if want to enhance your epic five-star unit, or if your four-star elite character is causing you problems.
Rerolling tokens can be acquired through completing certain quests. They can be bought from the Occultist for 300 gold or they can be found in the holozon boxes that are dropped after the completion of certain dungeons. You can then change the roll of any weapon or armor by moving the icon with the lock on it to the desired slot on your unit's page.
Sets
A set is a set of items that share some similarity. Sets are used every day, such as a dozen eggs or a group of friends. They are useful because they let you organize things, and also operations such as intersection, union and difference can help you to manage them effectively. Sets can be used in various ways, including organizing music on a play list or classifying students according to their grades.
In Nioh the game uses Sets to give special effects when players are wearing pieces from a particular armor set. These bonuses, referred to Set Bonuses, are comparable to and sometimes superior to Effects. Although it's not clear why the armor sets must be worn together in order to generate these additional effects, they are a nice method to alter the game when playing the game. The armor sets with Set Bonuses can be found many locations in Hyrule like the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.
Each piece of equipment included in a Set includes a set of Set Bonuses that are associated with it. You can find out the ones you are looking for by hovering over the item and then looking at the tooltip at the bottom. The Set Bonuses will be displayed in the form of a red box.
Some of these bonuses are exclusive to certain equipment. If you equip the entire Phantom Armor set, you will get +8 defense (instead of the +3 defense you get with most equipment). Other sets are available only by completing certain quests or by purchasing them through the Auction House.
It is also possible to get Set Bonuses on several pieces of equipment at the same time. For example, if you have the complete Kestra's Descent set and the parts that match from the Twinblade of Shadow you will be eligible for the + version the bonus set when you soul meet it.
In contrast to Effects, which change each time you upgrade them, Set Bonuses stay the same even when the pieces of equipment they are connected to increase in. If an item is exemplarized to levels that are not enough, the set bonus will stop working.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are special effects which can appear on an item set and grant an advantage to the player in combat. They grant a specific amount of a particular kind of stat, such as damage to weapons, defenses, or even resistances. However, they do not stack, and only one will be active at any given time. The amount of a stat is determined by how many pieces of the set are used which means you could have three chests and one armour, and four weapons for instance, however only the one with the highest bonus will be of benefit to you.
They generally boost the primary stat of a piece, however they also boost secondary stats too. Defence bonuses boost three defensive positions and two types of defense. For example a five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you 400 defenses in your equipment. This is a significant increase in your gear, especially as melee characters.
This is an excellent feature and one of the most well-known in the game. There are currently only a few gear sets have set bonuses, and they're only available in the Test Realm, but expect the number to increase when the update goes live. The bonus will be added to the seven school-specific Dragoons gear, for example.
Set bonuses cannot be stacked within a set, but they do stack across sets. This is great for players who want to combine sets in the best possible way. It requires some planning. Since set bonuses only affect the shell of the equipment (not the armoring, mod or enhancement) It is important to be aware of where you place them.
The most important thing to keep in mind is that the strength of a set's bonus is not affected when you have an exemplar that is more than three levels below the minimum level that is allowed for an Enhancement of that type. Purple (Very Rare) Sets PvP sets, sets for PvP and Archetype Origin sets are exempt from this rule, and their set bonuses function regardless of the exemplar level of an item.
