The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized with a specialized app to save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate through rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles helps it avoid running over wires, furniture or other toys. These features are vital for my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum cleaner, so it's a natural choice to be with a host of features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and raise its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also can avoid obstacles by finding pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuums uk vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad for deep cleaning. It also has mop lifter which lifts the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be washed and dried in the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it began to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tested.
This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being the fact that it's costly. But its abundance of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. If you can afford the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it did well across all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced docking station that is multi-functional. The dock empties its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for the mopping function and even dries its mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best robot vacuum performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned as well as the water tank and dust bag must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will also require changing regularly.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're looking to save money I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could purchase however, its cost and frequent maintenance would make it more an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination has a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a mop with a roller that cleans itself which makes it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot, and it is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes, or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro removes the mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds a good amount of water and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
As with most robotic vacuums and mop combos The S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you do choose to use this feature, you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot cleaner with mop brands that permit you to use your personal cleaner of choice.
Like most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a area and was able to navigate around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has lots of features at a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner, but it still has some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean every area that is that this device maps or select specific rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the area.
The Qrevo did well in our tests, like the other Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic manner. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify dangers like thick carpets, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.
The most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be a problem for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you use the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot to clean up a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
