The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized using a specialized app to save the maps of your home as well as set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune how much water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping feature can help your robot vacuum cleaners uk navigate around rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running into furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum cleaner, so it naturally comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pet toys plants, small objects.
The maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is higher than any other robot vacuum we've examined so far. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its location, preventing it becoming stuck on objects.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide an intense clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting system, which will lift the pad when it goes from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
This is a very complete and robust product, with its only downsides being that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features make it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can afford the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuums that mop vacuum. The premium price is justified by its robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably across the house. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of debris from all kinds of floors and was able to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative multifunctional docking station. The dock empties its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I've test The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station needs to be cleaned out and the water tank and dust bag must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately also require replacement every few months.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a smaller budget, I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could buy, its high price and ongoing maintenance will make it seem more an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo has a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It also comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean to clean the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots that vacuum and mop. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. When it turns the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and emptied into a larger storage container. The tank onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you do choose to use this feature you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaner of choice.
As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map the area and navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with longer piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has lots of features at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is dense, with a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area that this device maps or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.
Like the other Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too, though it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards such as thick carpets however it won't always detect small things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.
The machine has a major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot vacuums best. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and traces that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot vacuum cleaners best keep its cleanness a bit higher than its cheaper competitors.
