Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method of quickly cleaning up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops I tested had excellent mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as tangled wires.
They're also user-friendly using an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and check on how they're up to.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot vacuum cleaners uk mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This premium vacuum is quick and agile, and it picked up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek app interface with a miniature map of your house and a few on-screen buttons to control the device manually.
Another noteworthy feature of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode based on dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
It comes with a range of other smart features also, including an alternative dock that connects to your home plumbing to wash and clean the mop roller without needing you to manually refill it. You can even make use of voice commands using the S8's built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands-free robot vacuum that can also mop. It's one of many combination robot vacuums that have mopping features that are also priced lower than the competition.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to get started, including setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the robot will begin to vacuum and mop easily.
It's important to note that mapping takes a while, and it may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. In addition the detection of objects can be hit or miss and it was able to get around furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to flip itself over to free itself. However, these aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those who need an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned, not just swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an innovative tool that can get to places best robot cleaner vacuums cannot.
This model is essentially identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional features that are smart. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home's environment and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The smart app lets you adjust the settings of your choice, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and place debris into bags that self-seal. This helps to keep the system clean and prevents allergens from recirculating. The battery lifespan is long enough to handle large spaces without the need for a recharge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop model that comes with impressive features at affordable prices. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for hard and carpet floors, and great obstacles-avoiding. It also has a unique mopping system, that uses a roller that is continuously doused with water to pull dirt and then deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology performed well and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing and staying clear of stairs. It was unable to handle fine debris and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating sound level is also very high, which means this model may not be as easy to set and forget as others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water, empty the dustbin and dry and wash the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you control all its functions. It gives you an easy overview and a variety of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers available, and it provides impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with a reasonable accuracy. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, create no-go zones and alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which could be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system has intelligent carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they're near soft surfaces in order to keep them from getting contaminated.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance centre, automatically washing and drying the mops before refilling them with detergent and water. The base station comes with an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, allowing seven weeks of maintenance free operation.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 and this robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my cramped apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to make a map of your space and knows where to stay away from. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).
It also comes with other notable features, like an best automatic vacuum emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to places that other mops don't. You can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rug. If you're looking to cut down on time, it will skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a variety of flooring in your house and don't want to invest more money on a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional best robot hoover vacuum and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this robot is a great option. It comes with a wide range of features, including a self emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, as well as customizable settings via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug and it drains its battery faster than other models we tested.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that offers a powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however, it performed very well overall. It has a range of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to remove and reconnect its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in smaller areas. It is very fast and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be programmed to take pictures of every object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not located', so that they won't be picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secure and not connected to your account.
It's great at vacuuming, but it's not so great in mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bottom of the bot, and it essentially drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
