This inline double is designed to grow with your family and you. It offers a variety of seating options that can be used for twins or kids of different age groups. The foam-filled tires will never flatten, and the soft suspension is perfect for kerbs.
It folds super-flat and meets the weight requirements for gate-checks at airports, making it easy to travel with. It also comes with a large storage basket under the seat, and an all-weather sun canopy with four panels.
Leclerc Influencer
The Leclerc influencer is a great choice for flyers. Its elegant design, auto-folding capabilities and dimensions that are approved by the cabin make it a great option. Its folded (and unfolded) size is 47cm which slightly exceeds the IATA standard of 45cm, but it still meets the airline's hand luggage regulations and can be stored in overhead lockers on flights (Subject to Airline approval). It was easy to clean with the aid of a wipe, and there were plenty of other items like nappy nappy, footmuffs and buggie bags that clip onto handles, and hoods that come with UV50+ protection.
We love the fact it's compact when folded down, and how it can easily fit into small spaces like shops narrow alleyways, and Jane's tiny terrace and is even easy to move up and down the stairs. The bumper bar can nipper double buggy as a handle for carrying and there's an ample, flip-flop-friendly brake with a color-coded indicator. The basket is smaller than other models, but it will still accommodate a large changing bag. There are also additional trays to store drinks, snacks and toys.
It's suitable for babies from the moment of birth and can be combined with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). The innovative backrest can be folded down to make it ideal for long walks or naps. The 5-point harness that is magnetic makes it simple to use. It is also super lightweight, weighing just 6.6kg. A travel bag is also included.
Joie Evalite Duo
British brand Joie is committed to "sharing happiness with the new parents", creating pushchairs that are "functional and innovative, as well as stylish". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is the brand's most recent offering. It's designed to take two children side-by-side unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has elevated seating that allows both children can view the world around them.
Weighing just over 10kg, the Evalite Duo is one of the lightest double stroller strollers for siblings on the market. It's suitable for babies from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to fold or lift, drive, and ride. The clever frame expands to accommodate a second child seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding design is a highlight. They were awed by the speed and ease with which the Evalite Duo comes together. However, they did notice that it's trickier to navigate bumps and rough terrain than other models.
The front seat can't fully recline, and parents had to use their hands to lower it. This is something they would prefer to avoid when traveling with children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a fantastic stroller that can be improved with a few tweaks. And they appreciate that it's compact and small when folded!
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach, a sophisticated tandem buggy, offers parents the variety they require. It's compatible with a wide range of car seats, and folds easily with a single to double buggy click. It also comes with plenty of accessories that other brands charge for separately, such as liners and rain covers.
iCandy Peach is a favorite among parents who are fashion-conscious due to its fashionable and modern jersey fabrics. The new 2022 version of the Peach has been subjected to a variety of minor tweaks to improve the performance and function without sacrificing aesthetics.
One of the biggest improvements to this latest Peach is the addition of a ride-onboard, which makes it an ideal choice for twins. It's also smaller than the older Peach model, yet it still provides all the space your children might require.
This is a great double stroller for those who want something sleek and versatile. It can be used as a single pram from birth and then buy the double kit to make it into a twin stroller. It also has a massive basket and 5 reclining positions to provide maximum comfort for your children. It also comes with a one-handed fold and an integrated carry strap. The only downside is that it can be somewhat bulky to store when not in use, especially as it folds in two parts rather than one.
iCandy Orange
This is among the most popular twin buggies. The seats are well padded and can be outfitted with liners or luxury footmuffs that will keep your little ones cosy in cold weather. The carrycot is able to be fitted onto the Orange chassis easily with gates that open and is comfortable and spacious. The seat and carrycot can be placed in a variety of configurations and the Orange chassis can accommodate an incredible 30 different combinations.
The wheels are optimised to take on rough and concrete terrain, and there's an enormous shopping basket beneath that is ideal for big shopping trips at the supermarket. The pushchair is light and easy to drive. The round pedal brake makes it simple to use, but it's not suitable for flip-flops. It's not the easiest one to fold, and the latch that holds it folded requires two hands to unlock. Once it's collapsed, the front wheels tuck into the basket and the chassis is free to stand.
The Orange is a fantastic choice for parents who are fashion-conscious and have a toddler, baby or both. They're looking for a buggy that can grow with their child. It's also a good choice for parents who plan to have another child in the not-too-distant future who require a flexible off road double buggy pushchair. The iCandy Orange is not cheap but it's flexible enough that it will last for a while and have a high resale price too. It's also available with a buggy board, which will reduce the number of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Mountain Buggy, founded by an Australian and a member of the Mokopuna Group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger, is the first pram manufacturer that focuses on two all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller is easily maneuvered around narrow aisles of shopping and doors. It is one the most compact and fully-featured double buggies on the market and has been awarded numerous awards, including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The seats are narrow enough for children of various ages to sit together comfortably and the seats are independently reclineable, so children can pick their preferred position. The large canopy has flick-out sun visors and the storage basket is very roomy. It accepts two infant car seats with the purchase of car seat adapters. It works with nearly all brands that are available, which is a huge benefit.
The only issue is the weight. At 32.4 lbs, it is heavy to lift in and out of the trunk, and might be difficult for Grandma to manage. It's also more expensive than other double buggies. It is built to last and it offers many advantages for the money. It's a great option for urban parents who don't want to carry around a heavy stroller. And, the padding of the harnesses and the 5-point buckle ensure that it is safe for infants.
Bugaboo Donkey twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with elegant design. It's a quality product, but it's not without flaws.
For one, it offers only a handful of additional conveniences for the children and parents. There's a small side bin beside the seat that can only be used when the seat is connected and that's the only thing it has. There aren't any cup holders, parent tray or accessory pockets. This could be a problem for long trips.
The seats also don't recline to a very flat position, and the gap between them is quite large which is why our 5-year-old was unable to lie back comfortably. It's unfortunate given that this is a luxury vehicle.
On the positive side, it's a breeze to maneuver and the swivel wheels are great in climbing the steps and slopes. It's also slim enough to fit into the majority of doorways and folds up easily for storage and transport. Plus, it can be turned back to mono mode in just three clicks if ever need some more room or need to get away. The comfort wheeled board can accommodate a third kid if required. If you're on budget, there are cheaper options. It's worth it though in the event that you're a huge fan of the brand and have money to spend.
