The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized using an app that can save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping options. You can also adjust the suction power and the amount of water your mop uses.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate through rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles will stop it from running into furniture, wires or other toys. These are essential features to have in my house, filled with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even raise its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pet toys plants, small objects.
The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is more than any vacuum we've examined so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad for deep cleaning. It also features an automatic mop lifting system which lifts the pad when it goes from laminate to tile hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be washed and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means you can just set it and forget it, only having to change the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its standard vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its high-end price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It also has an app-based controller that is smart and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it was able to perform well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without tangling. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational motion and an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the real selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, then refills the tank with water to use to mop and also dry your mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tried and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads sold separately also require replacement every few months.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone who has the money for it. If you're on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to note that even if the L10S Ultra is the Best robot vacuum uk mop and robotic vacuum you can find but its high cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a desire than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that can clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It also comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot vacuum that mops and it receives a constant supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. As it rotates, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station, where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements, and then it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums and mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do select this option you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a space and was able to navigate around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at a reasonable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level vacuum and mop but it does have several impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot vacuum best's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that are mapped by this device, or choose individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map out the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like the other Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective however it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify hazards such as thick carpets but it might not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels or electrical wires.
The machine has a major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a simple solution: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up" at the conclusion of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to remove the last remnants of dust and debris that are left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help this robot get rid of a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
