Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with a specialized app to save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid running over wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are crucial in my house, which is full of toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is packed with features. It can sweep and mop in one session, and it can even lift its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming too wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pets plants, a variety of small objects.
The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested so far. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has an automatic vacuum cleaner mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate hardwood, carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
Additionally in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be rinsed and then dried with the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can put it away and forget about it, only having to change the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual vac- and mop-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
This is a highly complete and robust product, with its only downsides being the fact that it's pricey. The number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its high-end price is justified by its robust features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably across the house. It removed 98.4 percent of the debris on any type of floor and was able to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's real highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dries its mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned out and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will need to be changed periodically.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that lets you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best automatic vacuum and mop robot mop and vacuum you could find however, its price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a good robot vacuum mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself, making it stand out among other models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. When it turns the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard holds plenty of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
Like most robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning robot mop and vacuum solution to dock. However, if you do opt for this feature you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a space and moved around furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is complex, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean all areas mapped by this device or select specific rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.
Like all Roborock models we've evaluated, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning robot mop and vacuum in a neat manner. The default pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too although it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot dangers like thick carpets however it won't always detect small things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.
The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be an issue for people who do a lot of vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up", at the end of each session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to remove the last remnants of dust and debris left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice feature and helps the robot make its clean better than its competitors with lower prices.
