Item upgrades are upgrade components that can be put into armor, weapons and trinkets to give an additional benefit. They usually come at an increased cost and require that the item be at an appropriate level.
Upgrades aren't always worth the cost for items that have high requirements. This is especially true for items that don't roll much like Eth titans.
Glyphs
When you reach the 50th level the action-RPG of Blizzard moves from its simple campaign to the endgame. This is the time when things begin to change, as players are forced into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and new grinds to ensure that their character's build is as robust as it can be.
Glyphs play a key part in this process. Increasing a Glyph's upgrade level boosts its stats and the radius of its effect on the Paragon Board. There are several ways to obtain these upgrades, but the most common is by raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs allows you to insert symbols into your text. You can choose from the menu on the left side of the screen. The Glyphs panel displays glyphs based on the font in which your cursor is currently located. You can change the font or typestyle, and narrow down the list to just include punctuation symbols using the option under Entire Font. When you hover your mouse over a glyph, you can see its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tooltip.
The Glyphs Panel will keep track of your most recent 35 glyphs, and display them under Recently Used in the first row (you must expand the panel so you can see all 35). You can also remove any glyph that is not listed by clicking on it using the right-click option or Control-click, and then selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.
The Glyphs Panel also lets you to create a custom set of glyphs, which can be useful if you often need to type certain types of text. This will save you the time of manually inserting each glyph every time you require it.
A custom glyph set may contain the maximum number of glyphs, 31 comprising both the base name and its suffix. The base name must include uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z), lowcase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9) and underscore (_) and other glyphs. The suffix can also include ligatures, or contextual alternates. These are special variations which combine two or more letters into a single glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the principal mechanics that give an additional benefit to items, like stats. They are available in three different types: rerolling and recycling and leveling up. Each type provides a different set of extra bonuses on the item.
Reroll Tokens permit players to change the base power of an Best item upgrader and number of upgrades, and can also be used to reroll substats of ring. This is beneficial if a player wants to upgrade items an item upgrade, but the "potential" power of that item isn't what they're looking for. Or, if their item's substats aren't ideal.
A reroll costs 1 token, and will reset the item's upgrades however it will keep the rarity, set and level unaltered. As an item upgrader mod is progressively leveled up, its tier rises. The primary stat of the item is boosted by 3 points for each level. A random extra stat will be boosted along with it. The rank of an item upgrader kit rises by 1 when you level up an item to its highest achievable level.
The Blueprint Desk allows players to buy new Appliances, Ingredients and decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints are available at the beginning of each Preparation Stage and appear as envelopes which can be opened by pressing Grab. Each blueprint has its own icon, and every category of upgradeable item has a different icon:
Selecting a franchise card from the Blueprint Desk will allow you to obtain certain appliances or ingredients needed in certain recipes. Some Appliances and Ingredients are considered staple, which means that they will never be available at the Shop or through a reroll, whereas others have a higher likelihood of appearing if a specific Franchise Card is chosen from the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all the items will stay for the duration of the game. Similarly, non-staple Equipment is transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.
Recycled Items
The third "R," recycle, is where the magic truly occurs. You can benefit the environment by recycling a product made of recycled materials. This is because most items that are recycled go back to the manufacturer of the original to be remanufactured into another product. This is what we call "closing the recycling loop."
When a person puts something in their recycling bin at the curb the item is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) where it gets separated and sorted into its various components. Then, it gets transferred to manufacturers who will then re-make the product. Items that are often transformed into new products include:
This process reduces the need to harvest, grow or extract raw materials to create something else. This reduces the damage done to the environment; less trees are cut down rivers are diverted and wild animals are displaced. This also reduces pollution from the dumping of raw materials into our water, soil and air.
Purchasing recycled products helps keep local businesses and jobs alive particularly for those who specialize in recycling materials. The demand for recycled items encourages businesses to participate in this eco-friendly initiative.
The final reason to purchase recycled products is that it takes less energy to produce new products from recycled materials as compared to creating them out of raw materials. This is due to the manufacturing process of creating a new aluminum can takes 95 percent more energy than manufacturing of an identical aluminum can made from recycled materials. Every little part is important.
Leveling
Most units are able to increase their level, giving them more XP each time they attack or are attacked. This XP is used to unlock upgrades, or increase the primary stat of the unit. Weapons are an excellent illustration of this, as they can be leveled up by increasing their damage and range.
Most levels have a minimum amount of levels to be completed, however this can differ from game to game. Leveling is done by spending either coins or resources. The majority of systems employ both to boost the level of an item, but certain systems only employ one or the other.
In many games, leveling up can be a problem because it makes certain units too powerful and other units aren't able to compete. Limiting the amount of leveling an individual player is allowed to do will force them into deciding what they'd like to upgrade, and the reason for it.
