Upgrades are new items that boost your stats. You can upgrade armor weapons, trinkets and weapons with these.
Upgrades to items employ a method called "upgrade pity" to calculate probabilities. This system is designed to reduce chances of losing and provide a solid safety net when upgrading.
Armor
The item upgrader lets players upgrade items the equipment level of their trinkets, armor and weapons. The upgrades are applied to the equipment by visiting an upgrader NPC with the appropriate currency. The attributes of an item are also upgraded when it is upgraded.
This NPC can be found in each major city and is located at the corner of the square near the Teleport. The NPC can be used to upgrade any piece of armor, weapon or trinket in the world, excluding items that require the completion of a quest or craft.
Note: The equipment you use to apply an upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time. You cannot apply multiple upgrades to one piece. If you attempt to do so the previous upgrade will be replaced.
Upgrade your gear to increase your damage, your survivability and overall power. If you have Benthic equipment that you acquired through the War Within Mythic Dungeon it will be at ilvl 385 and can be upgraded using [Prismatic manapearls]. Upgrades for PvE gear are account-wide, however upgrades for PvP gear requires a specific currency, such as [Valorstones] or [Harbinger Crestsor [Harbinger Crests]. The amount of Valorstones needed to upgrade additional gear in an armor slot decreases after the initial upgrade.
Weapons
Weapons are an important component of any character that is successful. They can be used to deter the wrathful monster, take down an intruder or compete in a target shooting contest. They can also hang on the wall. It isn't a matter of how you plan to use the weapon. It can be upgraded and will change with your playstyle as time passes.
Upgrades to weapons can be made by visiting a Blacksmith who has a Weapon Workbench available. The workbench is located in the right side of the Roundtable Hold hub area, Blacksmith Hewg is an excellent option to upgrade your main weapon. There is also a Smithing Master called Iji located in the "Road to the Manor" Site of Grace in the northwestern region of Liurna of the Lakes. Smithing Master Iji upgrades both armor and weapons.
In general, upgrading an item can increase its weapon's level by 5. Azerite weapons (see below) or other weapons with special abilities will increase their ilvl by 15 for all upgrades. Players can only have one upgrade in play at any one time. If you attempt to apply an upgrade to a weapon which already has an upgrade it will fail and the weapon will revert to its original ilvl.
Upgrades don't just boost the value of an item but also provide it with additional stats which can be used to increase its power. Some upgrades will be passive, while others may provide greater damage, faster attacks, improved range, or critical strike chance.
Some weapons can be upgraded to a higher level with an Ashes of War weapon, which is rewarded for beating certain raid bosses. Other upgrades can be applied to weapons with Whetblades, which are rare items that unlock new Affinities to infuse a weapon with.
Once a weapon is fully upgraded, the player is able to continue to upgrade it as long as they have the right upgrade materials and currency. It is important to remember that weapons can only be upgraded up to a maximum of ilvl 25. As a result, players should only upgrade their weapons once they've accumulated the maximum number of upgrades from regular and Whetblade items.
Trinkets
Trinkets are special items that offer a variety of Boosts. They can be upgraded just like other equipment by interacting with an Item Upgrader NPC.

The Item Upgrader NPC can be located in various locations throughout the game. They are listed on the map under the Locations tab. Some NPCs only offer upgrades for specific types of equipment, while others can be used to upgrade any item level upgrade. Certain NPCs provide additional benefits to those who have completed their quests. The NPC at Shattering Rift gives players a new toy if they destroy the Ancient Beast. Similarly, the NPC at the Eastern Guard Tower offers a unique trinket to players who overcome the Ancient Beast.
Set Pieces
A set piece is a key scene that raises the film and is remembered by the audience even after the credits have ended. It could be a scene that involves action, emotion, or even simply a visual spectacle. Set pieces are an integral part of movie magic and must be carefully executed to achieve the desired effect. Mission Impossible is a great example of how set pieces can create a a lasting effect on viewers.
Set pieces are employed in professional soccer to refer to any time a ball is returned to play via a kick, throw-in or any other formal method. This includes corners and indirect free kicks (also called indirect free kicks) and direct free kicks (also known as direct free kicks) and goal kicks. These scenes are deemed essential for the story's overall flow and can't be altered or cut out without compromising the integrity of the movie as an entire. Some notable scenes include a chase sequence, a dramatic explosion or even a car crash.
The process of upgrading, or upping as it is sometimes referred to is to transform a normal or rare, set or unique Best item upgrader into an elite version of the same Best item upgrade. This is done by purchasing a component upgrade from the upgrade menu and then incorporating it into the base item that has been upgraded.
This will unlock the stats which were restricted to the base item level upgrade's requirements or the maxed-out version. The increased stats make the upgraded version of an item more valuable than its base counterpart. The maximum defense rolls and upgrade requirements for each upgraded version are listed in the table below.
Generally, upgrading an item will boost its value, but there are exceptions. For example, if an item has inherent requirements that limit its use (take Whistan's shield in FB sorcs for an example), or when an item has a low base stat that can be upp'd to get an ideal or high roll, then it will only see limited usage and therefore gain minimal value.
