A double stroller will be essential if you're expecting twins or if you have two children of the same age. The best ones offer numerous ways for your children to ride such as side-by-side seating, and a rider board attachment.
The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's favourite stroller. It adapts to your family's needs seamlessly. It can accommodate two infant car seats and an infant seat which makes it an ideal option for twins as young as.
Bugaboo Donkey
This is the most suitable twin stroller for families that want a stylish double side-by-side stroller. It is a bit larger than other Bugaboo strollers however it feels sturdy and built to last. It has an adjustable handlebar that can be extended and retracted easily. It has a good reach, so my husband who is 6'1" is able to easily push it, even when it is full of weight.
Seats are spacious, and can be set up in a way that one child is in front of another or so that the children are facing each other. They can also recline separately from each other. The canopies cover both seat fabrics, if desired. They're not very ventilated, so they can feel like an oven on hot days. They do not have a peek-a-boo window to see the children.
This stroller has an unique feature that allows it to expand with you and your family. It can go from one seat (Mono Mode) to a double car seat stroller side by side stroller. This is the only double stroller convertible to do this. It can be used with a bassinet for newborns or a car seat.
It is simple to use on smooth surfaces, and it can handle slopes and stairs well. It can be a challenge to maneuver through crowded stores and restaurants. It is also a little difficult to fold up, especially when seats are connected. It is still fairly compact, and does fit through most doors easily.
There is a storage bin that fits on the frame to the front seat in mono mode. This is great for grocery shopping and other items. The main storage basket underneath the seats is large and can accommodate up to 100 lbs. This is more than any stroller on our list!
Uppababy Vista V2
This stroller is among the best twin strollers for newborns. It can be used right from the box as a double stroller, and is compatible with many bassies and infant car seats. The Vista Upper and Vista Lower adapters let you use two infant car seats at the same time.
The V2 is a redesigned version of the original Vista. The toddler seat has been raised by about half an inch, the footrest has been made larger and the canopy has an additional fabric extension that zips out. The harness has also been modernized - it does not require changed out, making it simple to adjust.
The stroller comes with fairly large wheels (8'' in the front and 11.5 inches in the back) with strong suspension, which means it is able to easily navigate any terrain. The front wheels are rubber, which makes them ideal for navigating through rocks, gravel and cobblestones. While the rear wheels have more tread to conquer the grassy hills and sidewalks.
Another feature that is great is the possibility to connect a child's bicycle to the front of the stroller, which can be a handy option for those who aren't interested in using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. If you have a child who's old enough to stand, the Vista stroller can fit a third child with its piggyback board accessory.
Vista is a simple device to use. Vista is easy to use and to set up. However, it takes some time to take off all the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow, and there's a YouTube video to help if you require help understanding them.
Thule Urban Glide 3
The Thule Urban Glide 3 is the newest version of the popular stroller for all-terrain use. It's made to draw the attention of modern families who are a fan of style, sustainability, and adventure. It comes with exciting improvements, including a built-in leg rest and a reclined seat that offers unbeatable comfort for children who take long jogs and walks. Its sleek, agile design improves its mobility.
It's incredibly lightweight, making it a breeze to push and swift to accelerate on the road. Its suspension is able handle sudden changes in surface (such as grass to pavement) and the oversized tires are able to withstand any terrain. It is able to easily climb over kerbs and turn tight spaces, like city streets. It's also easy to navigate narrow sidewalks and overcrowded parks.
The new Urban Glide 3 is a superior jogger that offers parents a great deal of comfort and ease. This includes an oversized canopy that provides an excellent sun protection as well as a convenient peekaboo window, an extremely high-quality harness system and an integrated handbrake with a perfectly in-tuned lever. It also comes with ample storage, with in-seat storage pockets and a large cargo basket that holds up to 15 pounds and comes with a zip-top cover.
This Thule jogger comes with a bassinet to accommodate strolling babies, and a double pram stroller version that can hold two children. It is compatible with car seat adapters so you can use the infant carrier of your child, and it comes with a one-handed fold to make it easy to carry or store. It's also an eco-friendly choice because it uses dyed-solution fabric in black and white color options.
Cortina Together
Cortina Together is designed for families that are growing and provides parents with the option of seating to accommodate the needs and preferences of every child. The double stroller's two standard seats feature reclining backrests and independent canopy. The seats are also designed to take Chicco's KeyFit or KeyFit 30, the #1 baby car seat that is rated the highest in both the rear and front seat. (Car seat sold separately).
A large, zipper-access basket in the rear offers ample storage for equipment. The handle is cushioned to accommodate mom or dad. The tandem double stroller's wheels and suspension ensure a smooth ride on all terrains and the 1-touch linked rear brakes with toe-tap activated make stopping a breeze.
In our Strollers & Multiples laboratory tests, Cortina Together received high scores for ease of use. This metric is based upon the ease with which it is for you to fold and set up the stroller. It also includes how easy it is for you to open and close the snack trays, engage and disengage brakes, and then lift the folded stroller and carry it as if it were the trunk of a car.
We did find some drawbacks to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds fully loaded, which puts it closer to the extreme end of our metrics. In addition, it is not able to see clearly in the back seat when the car seat is in place. Additionally the front tray release can be difficult to operate, particularly when used for a long time. However, despite these issues, we consider this to be a great stroller for your family.
Jeep Double Stroller
Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller - an affordable, lightweight stroller that is ideal for families with two children. Its front swivel lock wheels rotate to maneuver on flat surfaces, and ensure stability on bumpy ones making it easy to get where you want to go. It has an umbrella that folds down compactly and can be closed in a matter of seconds. It also stands upright to make transporting it easier. Its lightweight aluminum frame, carrying strap and handle made of foam makes it one of the most easy double strollers we have seen in our tests.
This tandem stroller features reclined seats that can be independently adjusted for maximum comfort. Its canopy is large and offers UPF 50 protection, and comes with a peekaboo view to make it easy for monitoring. We would have liked to have the canopy vented to allow more airflow. We also didn't like that the cup holder is very high on the frame, meaning you'll have to bend to reach it.
In our test of tipping, the Jeep fell over at 39 degrees of incline which is higher than average for a stokke double stroller stroller. It's a bit heavier however, it has more storage for the money. The seats and handle are also well-padded.
This versatile stroller has three modes it can be used in: wagon (just for things) and jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses for children) and car seat mode. It can be used with one infant car seat, but pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is 6 months old before jogging with them. They should also be 1 year old before taking them on rough terrain. It's black and comes with a lifetime warranty.
