Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the best rated robot vacuum way to quickly clean up mess. The top robot vacuums and mop I test had superior mapping and navigation. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as tangled wires.
You can also schedule cleaning chores through an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combination. It is equipped with the latest features. This model of the highest quality is quick and agile and can pick up dirt such as hair from pets and human hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that includes a mini-map of your home and buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using a damp mopping pad.
It has a variety of other features that are smart as well, including a different dock that connects to your home plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller, without having refilling it manually. You can also use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant of the S8 using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular control options with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum with mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile alternatives. It's one of a variety of combo robot vacuums that also include mops but is priced at a cheaper price than the majority of competitors.
Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to begin, which includes creating an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've completed this, the robot will start vacuuming and mops effortlessly.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process could take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate image of your space. In addition the detection of objects can be hit or miss It was able to get around furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to flip it over to get free. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of a cleaning companion that does everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned and not just cleaned. The detachable vacuum stick is an innovative tool that can reach places even robot vacuums can't.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly increased suction power of 8,700Pa and a few other smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's environment and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you modify a variety of settings, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and place the debris into the self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and prevents allergens from recirculating. The battery life is long enough to remove large areas without the need for an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the premium robot automatic vacuum and mop robot and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for hard floors and carpets and a great obstacles-avoiding. It also features an unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly spraying with water to collect dirt and then deposit it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It avoided steps and walked close to walls without falling. However, it did struggle with fine-grained debris and was not always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating noise level is also high, so this model may not be as easy to set and forget as others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin, wash and dry the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with a regular schedule. You can manage all of its functions through the Eufy app, which gives an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best automatic vacuum mowers and vacuums that are available. It provides amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with reasonable precision. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, create no-go zones and customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which could be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM, while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they're near soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.
The docking station is an unmanned maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins every time they are emptied.
6. S10
This robot is just a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office tidy. It can also reach into the corners of my tiny apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to make an outline of your area which allows it to know which areas to avoid. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop), unlike many vacuums.
It also has some outstanding notable features, like a self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to places that other mops can't reach. You can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile carpets. If you're looking to cut down on time, it can avoid mopping rooms that aren't dirty. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home and do not want to invest the extra money for the Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this robot is a great option. It comes with a wide range of features, including a self emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings through the app. It's extremely quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up tangled rug tassels up, and its battery drains more quickly than other models we tested.
With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and useful automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it did quite well. It has a range of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for people who live in cramped areas. It's extremely quick and quiet and it is able to navigate tight spaces well. It's also excellent at removing pet hair off carpets.
It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be configured to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they are not picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secure and are not tied to your account.
It is great at vacuuming, but it's not so well at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
