If you need to clean up mess fast, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacs and mops I've tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning chores using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
If you're looking for the top robot vacuum cleaners ukautomatic vacuum and mop and mop with cutting-edge features you should take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end model is incredibly quick and agile, picking up debris like hair from pets and human hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish interface that includes a mini map of your home and some on-screen buttons to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt. It will clean its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.
It comes with a range of other features that are smart too, including an alternative dock that connects to your plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller without needing you to manually refill it. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to specify the cleaning mode of your room and provide granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that can also mop. It's part of a plethora of combo robot vacuums with mops, but is priced at a lower price than the majority of competitors.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to get started, including creating an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the machine will start vacuuming and mops with ease.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process can take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate image of your space. In addition, object detection can be difficult to determine and it was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to turn itself over to free itself. But these are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who want an all-in-one cleaner.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned, not just swept. And its detachable stick automatic vacuum cleaner is a game-changer that allows you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you modify various settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot automatic vacuum cleaner and mop return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and place the debris into bags that self-seal. This keeps the system tidy and also stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the top-quality robot vacuums and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets, and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also boasts a unique mopping method, which uses a roller continuously filled with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well, navigating close to walls without falling and avoiding stairs. It had trouble with small particles and did not always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also relatively high, and it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than others.
As with most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to replenish its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with the regular schedule. You can control all of its functions via the Eufy app. It provides a clear overview and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers available, and it offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upward when they're near soft surfaces to avoid contaminating the carpet.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they are empty.
6. S10
This robot is just a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my office tidy. It can also reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an image of your home which allows it to know where to stay away from. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that will stay clear of things like dog bowls and toys (but not the poop), unlike many vacuums.
Other amazing features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and customize settings for every room in your home.
Similar to the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your house and don't wish to spend extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities this is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this robot is a great option. It offers a broad range of features like the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as an additional water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's surprisingly quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains quicker than other models we tried.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that offers an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the much more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra, but it still performed very well overall. It also offers a variety of cleaning modes to meet your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It will even remove and reconnect the mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in cramped areas. It's quiet and quick and does a great job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it's possible to take photos of any object it finds (i.e. chew toys, or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they don't get taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and are not tied to your account.
It does a great job of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
