Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an application that allows you to save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune how much water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate around rooms while an obstacle avoidance function prevents it from running into furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are crucial in my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and lift its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by finding pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad at more than 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it goes from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
In addition to this, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be rinsed and dried in the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and return to its base for a recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've test.
This is a very robust and well-rounded product with its only downsides being that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can afford the price we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum reviews vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It also includes an app-based controller that is smart and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my testing it performed very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational motion and a strong dose cleaning solution.
The docking station is the primary selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. The base station must be cleaned, and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately will require changing regularly.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tighter budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot cleanerrobot mop and vacuum you could purchase but its cost and constant maintenance will make it more of a want than need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while cleaning up wet mess take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery that can be used for mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire length of the bot and is continuously supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage container. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you do choose to use this feature, you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot vacuum cleaners reviews brands that permit you to use your personal choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing however this can be rectified as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas mapped by this device or select individual rooms, an expandable zone or a custom routine you've designed. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the space.
The Qrevo did well during our tests, just like the other Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat way. Its "Normal" pathing setting covers a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect the dangers of carpets that are thick, but it may not always detect small things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.
This machine has one major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot to clean up a little bit better than its less expensive competitors.
