An upgrade item is a special item that will make certain Pokemon develop. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and can be offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the type of item upgrade.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, armors, weapons and other tools for gathering in order to add attributes bonuses or other effects when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot. Most upgrade components also require that the item being upgraded is above a specific level. Some upgrade items also have special visual effects when applied to an equipment piece. Upgrade components are available through crafting, purchased by Karma merchants or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and redeemed as rewards.
A variety of upgrade components are available, each providing various bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions are able to be used on any type of equipment. They provide fewer bonuses than other kinds of upgrade component. Infusions are able to be used on legendary and non-amulet items, and enrichments are able to be used on back equipment that is ascended. Injecting an upgrade component can destroy the previous upgrade. Exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which can be removed and reinserted freely.
Insignias and enchantments will show their names on the hover display of the item upgrading while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their name to the end of the equipment name (e.g., a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components that have been added to an equipment piece will be visible in the tooltip of the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add decorative and useful elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures and fractions, as well as ornaments, as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses and swashes as well as swashes. The Glyphs panel allows you to see and insert these particular characters as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes, en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in their primary stats. It also includes up to four secondary stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by other bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will display a window with the Glyphs that are available to you. You only need to apply the correct Glyph to the item you have selected. Each weapon or armor piece has its own collection of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be upgraded through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the Dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph reaches level 15, it can be upgraded by the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a Glyph is elevated to the desired level, you can activate it by selecting it, then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will offer its stated bonus and will increase the number of nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go in areas that can benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritize Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. The glyphs that are rare might offer dual benefits when certain conditions are met and therefore are worth checking out for too.
If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of different views. Each of these views shows the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the selection of glyphs further by choosing an option beneath "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process by which you create a new account to give yourself more chances to access the character or weapon you are interested in. It can aid in your progress to higher levels or to get better loot, like the best weapon for your character. Many players roll again until they find the characters they like regardless of their abilities. It could be that they like the style or personality of the character.
It is important to make clean changes every time you restart. This means you should check locally that the patch passes the pre-commit tests, and you should also conduct a core development test. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue using plain diff (see What about an interdiff? ).
Rerolls may take a few days or weeks depending on how fortunate you are. During this time, it is recommended to avoid any optional enemy camps to save time. Additionally you should not re-do any quests that are completed later in the game. This can save time and energy.
Another important aspect to consider when rerolling is making sure that you are aware of the upgrade system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance and power. Upgrades, rerolling characters, and upgrading weapons are all options. It is also important to know the limitations of the system.
Rerolling might not be a necessity but it's an option to increase your chances of getting an item or character. It can be used to determine the best character or to experiment with different builds and playstyles.
Sets
A set is a collection of objects that share common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of the class). Sets allow for operations like union, intersection and distinction.
Upgrades can make a set better than before. For weapons and armor, this means it gains an increase in the base defense as well as an lower strength requirement, and an lower requirement for level.
Upgrades are an excellent way to bring popular single-set items up to parity with their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to an Elite Spired helmet will increase the defense by 217 up to 321 and lower the strength requirements and requirements for level to an feasible range.
It's important to remember that not all items in a set are suitable for upgrading. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff are already Exceptional and Elite in their own right and do not require any upgrades. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to improve their performance. For such products, it might be worth the extra expense to upp them.
