Item upgrades are upgrade items elements that can be slotted into weapons, armor and trinkets to provide an additional benefit. They usually have an increased cost and require the Best item Upgrade to be at an appropriate level.
Upgrades are rarely worth the cost for items that have high demands. This is particularly applicable to items that don't have a lot of variance like eth titans.
Glyphs
After level 50 in Diablo 4, Blizzard's action RPG changes its focus from its streamlined campaign into the final game. This is the time when things begin to change, as players are pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and brand new grinds that ensure their character's building is as strong as it can be.
Glyphs play an important role in this progression. The higher the Glyph's upgrade items levels boosts its stats and radius of effect on the Paragon Board. There are several ways to acquire these upgrades, however most players will be relying on the primary method of raiding Faction Crypts.
The Glyphs panel lets you add glyphs to your text by selecting them from the menu that is located on the left of the screen. It initially displays glyphs in the font where your cursor is however, you can also view another font or type style, and limit the glyphs available to a smaller subset by selecting one of the options below the Entire Font (for example Punctuation displays only punctuation symbols). By moving your pointer over the glyph, you will find its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tooltip.
After you've added a few glyphs and then the Glyphs panel will keep track of the last 35 distinct ones you've used, and will make them available under Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you must expand the panel to view all 35). You can also remove a glyph from this list by clicking on it with the right-click or Control-click and selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.
Another benefit of the Glyphs panel is that it permits you to create and modify an individual glyph set which is beneficial when you must write certain types of text often. This will help you avoid having to manually insert each glyph every time you need it.
A custom glyph can be made up of a maximum of 30 glyphs. This includes both the base name and its suffix. The base name must contain uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9), underscore (_) and other glyphs. The glyphs of the suffix could include ligatures or contextual alternates, which are special variants that combine two or more characters into one, visually unified symbol.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the main mechanics that give additional bonuses to items, like stats. These upgrades are available in three distinct types: rerolling, recycling and leveling up. Each type offers a different set extra bonuses for an item.
Reroll Tokens permit players to alter an item's base power and the number of upgrades it has and are also used to reroll substats of ring. This is helpful if a player wants to upgrade an item however the "potential" power of the item is not what they want. Or, if their item's substats aren't optimal.
Rerolling an item level upgrade is costing 1 token. It resets the upgrades, but will keep the rarity, set, and level intact. Leveling an item up increases its rank, and with each tier, the main stat is increased by +3, while a random extra stat is added to it. When an item is leveled to its maximum level increases its level by 1.
The Blueprint Desk is a tool that lets players purchase new Appliances, Ingredients and Decorations for their restaurants. Blueprints are provided at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and appear as envelopes which can be opened by pressing Grab. Each blueprint is branded with a distinct icon, with each type of upgradeable items displaying various icons:
The choice of a franchise card through the Blueprint Desk will allow you to acquire certain appliances or ingredients that are needed for some recipes. Some Appliances and Ingredients are considered to be staples, which means that they will never be available at the Shop or through a reroll, while others have a greater chance of being available if a particular Franchise Card is selected from the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all items will remain for the duration of the game. In the same way, non-staple equipment is transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.
Recycled Items
The third "R," recycle, is where the magic happens. When you recycle a product that is made of recycled materials, you're not only helping the environment, but also giving that item upgrader kit a new life. The majority of recycled items are sent back to the manufacturer from which they came to be remade into a new item. This is what we refer to as "closing the loop of recycling."
If someone places something in their recycling bins at the curb, it is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorting. Then, it gets offered to manufacturers who will then re-make the product. Items that are often remade into new products include:
This process reduces the necessity to harvest, cultivate or extract raw materials to create something else. This helps reduce the harm done to nature; fewer trees are chopped down rivers are diverted and wild animals are relocated. This also reduces the amount of pollution caused by dumping raw material into our water, soil and air.
Recycling products can help keep local businesses and jobs thriving particularly for those who specialize in recycling materials. This is due to the fact that demand for such products helps encourage companies to take part in this environmentally healthy initiative.
A final reason to purchase recycled items is that they require less energy to make new products from recycled materials than it does to make them out of raw materials. The process of making an aluminum container that is new requires 95% more energy than the process of making a can made from recycled material. This is why every little bit is important.
Leveling
The majority of units can be leveled up, which gives them extra XP each time they attack or are attacked. This XP is used to unlock upgrades or to increase the main stats of the unit. Weapons are a great example, as they can improve their level and increase their damage as well as range.
