The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized using an app that can save your home's maps as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, as well as how much water your mop uses.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running into wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These features are vital in my house, which is full of toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop in one session and even raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It can also stay clear of obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping function is impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to prevent soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be washed and dried in the dock and the dust container is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the cost, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The price is justified by the robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum mop cleaner robot and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed very well across the house. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and was able to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag for dirt, then refills the tank with water to use to mop and also dry your mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. Additionally it's not as capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. The base station must be cleaned out and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads, which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced regularly too.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to remember that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum that vacuums and mops vacuum and mop you can buy, its high purchase price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It is also equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot, and it is constantly supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept away into the front bumper. The S1 Pro dumps mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements and emptied into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a substantial amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
As with most robotic cleaner and mop vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to select their own choice of cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests however this could be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, as well as cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a good bit of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is dense, with a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.
The machine has a major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that lets you "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. The vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice feature and can help the robot to get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
