What is Evolution?
Evolution is a theory of science that explains the change in genetic characteristics of living organisms over time. The theory is based upon the fact that living creatures adapt to their environment, which could result in variations in genes or even whole genomes. Over the course of many generations, these changes can lead to the emergence new species. The prevailing theory of evolution is called natural selection, which explains the process by which those with favorable characteristics live and reproduce more frequently than those with less favorable characteristics. What is Creationism?

Many creationists are Christians, but not all. Creationists are generally divided into two groups: Young Earth Creationists (YEC) or old earth creationists.
The YECs are the best known type of creationist and they believe that God created the universe in the exact way described in the Bible. YECs believe that the biblical account of the six days of creation is true, and that the universe and life on Earth was created only recently.
OECs are less well known, but they are as passionate about their beliefs as YECs. OECs believe that the universe as well as Earth are billions-of-years old and believe that evolution is a myth.
Both types of creationism deny that scientific theories such as natural selection and abiogenesis are able to explain the origin of life on Earth. They argue that evolution is not possible because it would require miracles. The founders of modern scientific thought shunned miracles because they feared they would lose their credibility.
Some creationists accept both naturalistic evolution and special creation, and refer to their view "theistic evolution." It is sometimes known as "continuous creationism" or "evolution from the created species." In this view, God creates the original species, and then allows them to change over time. The next goal is to take out excerpts from Darwin’s infamous finch-research and also on human evolution.
STR claims to have the support of 4,000 families and individuals. Its mission is to cut out what it believes is the "atheist materialism" that creates a bleak worldview for students. It also hopes to combat the influence of American Creationists in the nation. A survey of biology students teachers found that about half do not believe in evolution. The causes are not clear, but could include religious beliefs or the absence of creation scientists in the United States.
The KACR has achieved a number of things in the past through lectures and seminar events. It has a bimonthly news magazine, Creation, and has published books. The most notable of these is a text on the natural sciences, with a creationist viewpoint, which attracted the attention of college communities. In 1991, a professor, along with a minister, began teaching Creation Science at one university. It is still taught today.
On August 6-7, 1993, coinciding with the World Expo opened in Daejeon, KACR held a second International Symposium on Creation Research. Six lecturers from the world, including ICR's John Morris, Duane Gish and Steven Austin spoke to audiences of a few thousand. KACR members and KACR have also given lectures on the subject of creation science at major seminaries. KACR plans to establish a Creation Science Education Center in the future.
